Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for running sites in the South of England. You will be expected to deliver the projects on time and on budget, to the highest quality standards. You will need good IT skills and be conversant with Microsoft software. You will also possess good communication and excellent organisational skills sufficient to enable you to organise yourself, the project teams and subcontractors. With relevant experience in a similar role you will be self-motivated and commercially astute with the confidence to represent the company's interests in various forums and contractual circumstances. Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of a number of ongoing projects. You will interface with both Main Contractors and Sub Contractors, undertake site measures, attend meetings and endeavour to maximise profit for the company by the preparation and settlement of contractual claims and the agreement of sub-contractors accounts. You will be self-motivated, have the confidence to represent the company’s interests in various forums and contractual circumstances. You will be a team player who isn’t afraid to ask questions to aid your development You will be driven and motivated with a passion for the job and want to progress within the field of quantity surveying. Ideally you will have a relevant qualification in quantity surveying and construction experience is preferred.
